SmallTown & Lottery

    In small towns everyone knows you by name. There aren't many strangers because everyone knows you or your family. It is not heavily populated. There aren't many secrets because word gets around fast. Everyone looks out for each other and they will do anything they can to help out. However, like in any area there are feuds. I live in a small town and I love it. I wouldn't want to grow up anywhere else. I feel very safe and I never have to worry about where I live. I can talk to almost anyone and they will happily talkback and carry on a conversation. The people that live in my town are very nice and they would do anything to help me out.

   When I think of a lottery  I think of one lucky person who wins a big prize that changes their life and their families lives. A lottery is a type of gambling where people buy tickets and if their ticket or number is drawn they win some sort of prize. When you play the lottery your chances of winning are usually very slim. My grandma participates in lotteries all the time. I don't know that she has ever won anything and if she has it wasn't anything big.

Fun Steps

Making something fun can change behavior. This was proved when they made the steps in the subway look and sound like piano keys. Before they did this the majority of people used the escalator but after they made the steps more fun 60% more people started taking the stairs. The stairs added fun and enjoyment to the people's lives. I believe it could even have an impact on people's outlooks on life. I feel everyone needs a little more fun in their lives. Everything is always so serious and sometimes we just need to step back, relax, and laugh a little bit.
